The legal technology and law practice management company Clio has named Hemant Kashyap as its first chief product officer, a role in which he will oversee product strategy, development and execution, including all features and integrations within Clio’s app integration ecosystem.
Kashyap joins Clio after having been vice president, product, at ServiceTitan, a company that develops software for home and commerical contractors and trades businesses. Before ServiceTitan, he was vice president of product at Inspire Clean Energy, a company that provides access to electricity from renewal energy sources.
“Clio’s mission of transforming the legal experience for all is a critically important one,” Kashyap said in a statement. “I’m thrilled to join the company and continue to drive that mission forward with the products we offer and markets we operate in.”
Clio said that Kashyap will lead the end-to-end design and delivery of its products. His responsibilities include defining the near- and long-term product vision, strategy and roadmap, as well as overseeing the launch and development of new products for lawyers and the legal industry.
Clio founder and CEO Jack Newton said he is delighted to have Kashyap join the company.
