A new legal industry award is intended to honor innovation in legal practice and legal technology, and nominations are now open.
Sponsored by Litera Microsystems and its online publication The Changing Lawyer, The Changing Lawyer Awards will honor individuals, law firms and companies for their willingness to embrace change through new technology, service models or behavior.
You may nominate yourself or someone else for one of four awards:

- Outstanding CIO of the year, recognizing a CIO who most effectively introduced a new technology or process that has enabled the firm to deliver better service to its clients.
- Disruptor of the year, recognizing an alternative legal service provider or legal tech startup that is disrupting the profession or the delivery of legal services.
- Outstanding lawyer of the year, recognizing a lawyer who has promoted or leveraged disruptive technology or methods.
Nominations must be submitted by Friday, July 27. More information about the awards and nomination forms can be found here.
Winners will be announced in August.
