Wishing You A Joyful and Peaceful Holiday Season

My gift for the holidays was to discover that this blog was included in a clever holiday verse from John J. DiGilio, editor of Pinhawk’s Librarian News Digest and senior director of research and intelligence at LibSource. If you don’t subscribe to this digest, you should. Let me share with you John’s verse, which he published in yesterday’s digest, bemoaning the dearth of news this week for him to cover:

‘Twas the night before the long weekend, when all thro’ the Net
Nary a writer was posting. There was nothing to get;
The editors were curating the Digest with care,
In hopes that Nick Milton or Bob Ambrogi might be there;

But the bloggers were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of “best of” lists danced in their heads . . .

So we’ll just exclaim, ‘ere we have this chance to speak,
“Happy Holidays to all, we will see you next week!”

Yes, the blogs are quiet this week. As well they should be. As well we all should be, blogger or not.

So I wrote today for one purpose only: To wish you all a very joyful holiday season and a 2017 in which you and your loved ones enjoy peace, success and happiness.
