One of my favorite legal technology events to attend is the Clio Cloud Conference. After the 2014 conference, I wrote that it was one of the best legal technology conferences I had ever attended. After last year’s, I said that it was déjà vu all over again. Now the fourth Clio Cloud Conference is fast approaching and I have a discount code to offer to save $150 off the registration price.
This year’s conference is Sept. 19 and 20 at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in Chicago. Clio has planned an agenda with 40 speakers covering an array of topics pertaining to legal technology, the business of law, and using Clio. Multiple tracks run simultaneously, so you can choose what most interests you.
Let me emphasize that you do not need to be a Clio user to attend and benefit from this conference. I’ve attended all three years and my experience is that a number of people attend for the general tracks even though they are not Clio users.
The conference also provides lots of opportunities for networking and socializing, including parties both nights — the first night at Carnivale, a restaurant where overhead aerial performers entertain while you eat Latin-inspired food, and the second night at Howl at the Moon, where the party includes live music and an open bar.
How to Get the Discount
To get the $150 discount, either enter the discount code LawSitesBlog on the registration page or simply click this link, which will automatically apply the code: http://cliocloudconference2016.eventbrite.com?discount=LawSitesBlog.
The standard conference pass is $499, so with the discount code it is $349. That includes all conference keynotes and sessions; admission for you and a spouse to the Monday evening party; breakfast, lunch and snacks during the conference, and everything else except the Tuesday night party.
You can also buy an all-access pass for $599 — or $449 with the discount code — that adds admission to the Tuesday evening event, which is fully catered and includes an open bar.
I hope to see you there!
