You know you’re getting old when even your blog is older than you care to admit. LawSites hit its lucky 13th birthday on Nov. 19. I started it back in 2002, partly as a way of providing updates to the book I’d published back then, The Essential Guide to the Best (and Worst) Legal Sites on the Web.
Given the occasion, it is a convenient coincidence that the just-released ABA Journal Blawg 100 includes an exploration of how the state of the legal blogosphere has changed. I am thankful to managing editor Molly McDonough for interviewing me for her piece and including my thoughts.
So, if you’re wondering about my take — after 13 years of blogging — on the state of the legal blogosphere, you can find the answer at the ABA Journal, where you’ll also find the perspectives of Staci Zaretsky of Above the Law, Scott Greenfield of Simple Justice, Kashmir Hill, formerly at Above the Law and now senior editor at Fusion, and Hilary Bricken of Canna Law Blog.
And thanks also to the ABA Journal for including LawSites in its inaugural 2012 Blawg 100 Hall of Fame.
