I wrote here last week about ModioLegal, a service that partners with legal publishers to convert news articles and current-awareness content to audio that subscribers can access through their smart phones or computers.
Now, the folks at ModioLegal have added the audio of my post about them to their service, as a sample of how it works. That puts me in good company, because they’d previously added posts from the blogs 3 Geeks and Law Blog and Dewey B Strategic.
As I noted before, you can listen to stories on ModioLegal using any browser, whether on a mobile device or on your computer — although the real benefit of the service is to be able to listen to the stories while away from your desk.
The stories are read by law students, not computer-generated voices. In the case of my blog post, the student who narrated it, Zach Fichtenbaum, a law student at the University of Michigan, made it sound better than I wrote it.
